The Challenge
Bring people together with purpose and energy.
Bupa wanted to bring 400 care home managers together from across the UK to align on strategy, reflect on achievements, connect with peers and look ahead with confidence. After long periods of dispersed working, the event also needed to feel uplifting — a chance to reconnect, reset and enjoy time together.
Alongside the experience in the room, the challenge was to make the most of existing content and brand assets, while still delivering moments that felt fresh, engaging and memorable.

The Approach
Designing an event that balanced clarity, creativity and reuse.
Having collaborated with Bupa over several years, we built on our understanding of their internal brand and how it shows up across different audiences and events.
From a technical and design perspective, we focused on reusing and repurposing existing content wherever possible, pairing this with carefully placed ‘wow’ moments to elevate the experience. This approach informed both the running order and the physical setup.
A large LED screen became the visual centrepiece of the event, supported by animated transitions, stings and branded motion. A catwalk stage helped close the distance between speakers and the audience, creating a more connected and engaging atmosphere. Breakout rooms were designed to align seamlessly with the overall brand, ensuring consistency throughout the day.
Moments of fun and interaction were woven into the programme, before the event concluded with a shared meal, live band and evening celebration.

The Outcome
A shared experience that energised and aligned the room.
The event successfully brought managers together around a clear sense of direction, while also creating space for connection, reflection and enjoyment. The balance of structure and celebration helped shake off cobwebs and reinforce a sense of shared purpose across the group.
By combining smart reuse of content with considered design and production, the event delivered impact without excess — leaving attendees aligned, engaged and ready for what came next.
