The Challenge
Launch a new summit with confidence, credibility and global reach.
L&G’s inaugural Tech Retail Summit needed to land as a flagship moment from day one. Hosted from their Hove office, the event had to deliver a premium experience for attendees in the room, provide external speakers and guests with a VIP-level experience, and stream seamlessly to a global audience via Microsoft Teams Townhall.
Alongside the plenary stage, the summit also included breakout sessions and workshops, all of which needed to feel connected, intentional and well-supported throughout the day.

The Approach
Designing an experience that worked in the room and online.
Working collaboratively with L&G, we mapped the full speaker and delegate journey, identifying key moments where design, technology and experience could add value. Activations were placed strategically throughout the space to guide movement and maintain energy across sessions.
We delivered full technical production for the plenary stage, including staging, lighting, cameras, vision mixing and live streaming. To elevate the experience beyond the technical, we introduced red carpets, branded installations, AI photo booths and kabuki drop banners — creating moments of impact and celebration at key points in the programme.
This approach ensured the event felt polished, welcoming and cohesive for both in-person and remote audiences.

The Outcome
A successful launch that connected audiences everywhere.
The Tech Retail Summit ran across two days of presentations, panels, workshops and fireside sessions, achieving full attendance in Hove alongside thousands of colleagues joining online.
The event successfully established the summit as a credible new forum, setting a clear benchmark for future editions across both live and streamed formats.
