The Challenge
Launching a life-saving brand demanded clarity, credibility and realism.
Thermarmour is a UK-based manufacturer specialising in thermal protection and hypothermia prevention, developing passive thermal technology designed to maintain core body temperature in critical situations.
As a new brand entering the market, Thermarmour needed to clearly communicate the value of this technology — not in theory, but in the real-world conditions where it is relied upon. Their products are used across emergency response, clinical care, military operations and outdoor environments, where trust, speed and reliability are non-negotiable.
Paradigm was asked to create a suite of films to support the launch of the brand and demonstrate Thermarmour’s products in action. The challenge was to bring this technology to life in a way that felt credible, authentic and grounded — showing how passive thermal protection performs under pressure, without overstatement or abstraction.
The content needed to educate, build trust and clearly articulate Thermarmour’s life-saving role to a global audience, from first responders and medical professionals to defence and outdoor specialists.

The Approach
Authenticity over assumption. Real conditions, real pressure.
To bring Thermarmour’s products to life, we designed a shoot built around realistic, high-stakes scenarios — placing the technology where it is genuinely relied upon.
We sourced a range of locations within a five-mile radius to maximise time on set while keeping logistics efficient. These included a hospital ward, wooded terrain, open water, and a private roadside location.
Working with a local mountain rescue team, we filmed during a live training exercise, following their procedures precisely. Using multiple cameras, we captured natural, unforced product use across open-water rescue scenarios, as well as stranded walker recoveries in wooded environments.
As part of the collaboration, a donation was made to the mountain rescue charity.
Military use cases were recreated with the support of a local airsoft team, who supplied uniforms and equipment. Drone footage simulated helicopter search sequences tracking red smoke flares, adding cinematic scale while remaining grounded in realism.
A cyclist collision scenario was filmed in a private car park, allowing a tightly controlled shoot without permissions or restrictions. A private ambulance service provided vehicles, equipment, and on-screen support, ensuring medical scenes were accurate and efficient.
Clinical environments were recreated in a disused hospital ward, with the ambulance team assisting to ensure correct patient handling and emergency procedures throughout.

The Outcome
Clear, credible content that earns trust under pressure.
We delivered a suite of five films, each fully edited, graded, and finished with a cinematic treatment. The content included professional sound design and foley for immersive realism, music scoring to heighten drama without overstating it and a flagship brand film combining footage from all of the scenarios.
Alongside the films, on-site action photography and studio-style product pack shots were captured to support the launch. These images were used across the Thermarmour website and marketing materials, creating a cohesive and professional visual identity.
The result was a confident, credible launch campaign that demonstrated Thermarmour’s technology in real-world conditions — helping audiences quickly understand its value and reinforcing the importance of passive thermal protection when it matters most.
