As part of our rebrand, we’re thrilled to announce that Paradigm has a new podcast!

Message Makers will be hosted by our very own MD, Owen Vittanuova.

In every episode, he’ll be heading behind the scenes with the people shaping modern communications - uncovering how powerful messages are built, why some ideas cut through while others fall flat, and what it really takes to engage audiences that are hard to reach and harder to impress.

From crafting messages that stick, to breaking down organisational barriers, delivering complex global events, and rethinking internal communications for today’s workplaces, Message Makers is your front-row seat to expert insight and lived experience.

You’ll hear directly from some of the UK’s leading communications professionals as they share the challenges they’ve faced, the wins they’re proud of, and the practical lessons that have made the biggest difference along the way.

Expect sharp conversations, fresh thinking and real-world advice, blending inspiration, strategy and hands-on tips you can actually use.

Whether you work in business communications, lead teams through change, want to harness AI more effectively, or simply want to understand how great communication drives results, Message Makers will give you the insight to level up your impact.

The first episodes

In our debut show, we’ll speak to Beth Fear, Senior Internal Communications Manager at Capgemini, about curiosity, clarity and connection in modern communications.

Beth shares her unexpected route into comms and how working across industries has shaped her belief that great communication is rooted in empathy, honesty and trust.

Now leading internal communications for Capgemini’s Cloud Infrastructure Services - 34,000 people within a global workforce of over 340,000 - she explains how consistency, collaboration and open dialogue help teams connect across cultures and time zones, as well as insights on balancing technology, humanity and the role of AI.

In episode two of Message Makers, host Owen speaks with Iain Lumsden, Head of Internal Communications and Events at ING Australia, about culture, connection and communications in a digital-first, global organisation.

With more than 20 years’ experience across financial services and telecoms - including time working with Owen at O2 - Iain has spent the past decade leading internal communications at ING Australia, one of the country’s original online-only banks.

As a challenger brand with no physical branches, ING is known for its playful, slightly irreverent ‘wonky’ culture, which shapes both its brand and internal voice while maintaining professionalism. Iain explains how this strong culture and close relationships help communications resonate.

The discussion also touches on connecting local teams to global strategy, visits from leaders in Amsterdam, and the cultural differences between working in the UK and Australia within a diverse workforce.

That's a wrap.

Message Makers is a brand-new podcast launching as part of our wider rebrand, reflecting a renewed focus on clarity, connection and the power of great communication.

Designed to spark thoughtful conversations with industry leaders, our podcast brings our new identity to life through real stories, fresh perspectives and practical insights.

Episodes are available to listen to directly on our website, as well as Spotify, apple podcasts and all the usual places you get your podcasts, making it easy to tune in wherever you are.

As the first in a new content series, Message Makers sets the tone for what’s next - purposeful, people-focused and rooted in meaningful dialogue.
